The Liberty Launches “Package for Milly”
The Liberty is proud to announce the launch of the “Package for Milly” campaign this Period Poverty Month, supporting those in need across the local community.
Originally developed by Jackson Square Shopping Centre, this impactful initiative is being brought to Romford to help tackle period poverty - an issue that affects thousands of people across the UK every year.
Supporting the Community
The “Package for Milly” campaign encourages visitors, retailers and staff to donate essential sanitary products, which will then be distributed to local charities supporting individuals and families in need.
Period poverty continues to be a significant challenge, with many people unable to afford basic menstrual hygiene products. By coming together as a community, The Liberty aims to help break the stigma around menstruation and ensure everyone has access to the essentials they deserve.
Led by Passionate People
The campaign at The Liberty is being championed by Louise, Tenant Liaison Manager, who is working closely with the centre’s cleaning and security teams, alongside a number of dedicated retailers, to bring the initiative to life.
Their combined efforts highlight the incredible sense of community within the centre, with teams uniting behind a shared goal to make a meaningful difference.
Making a Difference Together
The Liberty is proud to collaborate on this campaign, courtesy of Jackson Square, and to play a part in raising awareness of period poverty while providing practical support to those who need it most.
By working together - teams, tenants and visitors alike - we can help ensure dignity, comfort and confidence for everyone in our community.
