Romford BID Food Festival

Visitors can look forward to over 30 street food and drink vendors serving global flavours – from Spanish paella, Caribbean and West African dishes, to South Indian dosas, Sri Lankan cuisine, Chinese street food, Romanian BBQ, German bratwurst and Italian pizzas – alongside gourmet burgers, Yorkshire pudding wraps, loaded fries and much, much more. There will also be a tempting selection of sweet treats and desserts, plus Poochies Pupsicles serving dog‑friendly ice cream so four‑legged friends don’t miss out.

Guests will be able to browse a fantastic selection of handmade goods from talented artisan traders, while enjoying live music and street entertainment throughout the weekend.

The festival is free to attend and offers something for all ages. Families can enjoy free activities including games, face painting and interactive workshops hosted by Art‑K and Cakey Bakey Doo Dah. Children can also take part in exciting circus workshops, making it a fun‑filled day out for the whole family.

On Sunday 24th May, don’t miss special appearances from BBC’s legendary Supertato, appearing at intervals between 11am and 3.30pm.

Also taking place on Sunday is the Victoria Sponge Cake Competition, a fun and friendly baking challenge open to all ages. Simply bake your best Victoria Sponge at home and bring it along to be judged on appearance, taste and creativity – a brilliant way to get involved and show off your baking skills.
